Pride month is here and brands and bars are stepping up with special offers and cocktails in support of the LGBTQ+ community. For instance, Flight Club, the social darts eatertainment concept with locations in Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Denver, Houston and Las Vegas, will offer a signature Pride Cocktail and a five-layer Rainbow Cake for the entire month of June.
The Pride Cocktail, shown atop, is made with Empress gin, Ketel One Grapefruit Rose vodka, hibiscus, lemon, egg white and edible glitter, and priced at $15 ($18 in Las Vegas). Flight Club will donate 100% of the proceeds from sales of the cake and cocktail to a local LGBTQ+ organization. Charitable partners include The Atlanta Pride Committee; BAGLY: The Boston Alliance of Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual and Transgender Youth; Equality Illinois; The Center on Colfax in Denver; The Montrose Center in Houston; and The LGBTQIA+ Center in Las Vegas.
Guests at the Hyatt Centric Key West Resort & Spa can enjoy the Taste the Rainbow pride cocktail at the hotel’s Four Flamingos: A Richard Blais Key West Kitchen and the oceanside destination Blue Mojito. Taste the Rainbow will be available from June 1-30; $2 from the sale of each $14 drink will be donated to the Monroe County AIDS Foundation, which offers access to quality healthcare and safe, affordable housing within Key West.
The Knickerbocker Hotel has partnered with The Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual & Transgender Community Center to raise money for the LGBTQ+ community. The hotel will be rolling out an array of Pride-themed products throughout June, with a portion of the proceeds going directly to The Center. Specials include the Somewhere Over the Rainbow Cocktail at St. Cloud Rooftop made with Strawberry and Lemongrass Grey Goose vodka, triple sec, simple syrup and lime juice; Pride pastries at Jake’s Coffeehouse and Paco & Lola “Pride” wine.
The Hilton Cabana Miami Beach Resort has the Rainbow Blush cocktail at the resort’s oceanfront Allison Restaurant & Bar, a pastel-pink libation that captures notes of strawberry, hints of fresh lemon juice and a dash of grapefruit soda. For every Rainbow Blush cocktail sold between June 1 and June 30, 2024, the property will donate $1 to the Our Fund Foundation, a local organization dedicated to uplifting South Florida’s LGBTQ+ community.
And Sappe in New York is offering a special frozen Margarita cocktail, inspired by Jé Taew, a cherished character from the iconic LGBTQ+ Thai movie series “Hor Taew Taek” (Oh My Ghost). The $18 Jé Taew Margarita, available throughout June, is made with tequila, triple sec, lime juice, plum powder and a sour rainbow candy garnish, symbolizing love and support for the LGBTQ+ community.
Here are five Pride cocktails we love this year.
