El Mayor Launches Rosado Reposado Tequila

The Gonzalez family has expanded their tequila portfolio with their latest offering: El Mayor Rosado Reposado.

This premium 100% Blue Weber Agave reposado tequila was finished in cabernetsauvignon casks for nine months to create a tequila with a hint of spiced-berry flavor.

Distilled and produced at Destiladora Gonzalez Lux, Rosado Reposado will be available at a minimum suggested retail price of $44.99 per 750-ml. bottle. Starting this month, the product rolls out on a limited basis in select states including Colorado, Georgia, Michigan, Texas and Virginia.

“This is a gorgeous blushed tequila that delivers fruit-forward richness in every sip,” says Graciela Gonzalez, master distiller at Destiladora Gonzalez Lux. “The cabernet sauvignon casks strike a beautiful balance with the agave, creating something truly special.”  

As with every bottle of El Mayor, Rosado Reposado Tequila is made with 100% estate-grown, Blue Weber Agave from the valley area of Jalisco, Mexico. The finished product is bright, rose-gold in color, with a spiced-berry finish and a touch of vanilla nuttiness, according to distillery notes.

El Mayor Rosado Reposado Tequila is packaged in an embossed glass bottle with a dusty-rose-colored label.
