These mocktail recipes make a mockery of nothing. They’re delicious, simple, and still let you play home bartender. Here’s our top 10 summer mocktails to try in 2024.
Botivo is a non-alcoholic botanical aperitivo blended in small batches using rosemary, wormwood, orange zest, gentian, and thyme infused with aged British apple cider vinegar and balanced with organic wildflower honey. You deserve a Daiquiri even if you’re off the hard stuff so good thing Lyre’s has a super little substitute for rum in the form of a White Cane Spirit. This recipe still gives you the balance of sweet and sour you know and love.
Ingredients:
25ml simple syrup (made to a 1:1 sugar to water ratio)
30ml lime juice
A pinch of salt
Garnish: a lime zest
Method:
Place all ingredients (except the garnish) in a cocktail shaker with ice and shake well. Fine strain into a chilled Coupette glass and garnish with a piece of lime zest.
This cocktail is based on the classic Brown Derby – a real ‘Old Hollywood’ drink considered to be a ‘brunch’ cocktail. No-alcohol whisky makers Glen Dochus describe it as the “Perfect choice, whether you’re getting ready for a night on the town or tucking into a full Scottish at the weekend”.
Ingredients:
45ml Glen Dochus
30ml fresh grapefruit juice
5ml Scottish heather honey
A dash of lemon juice
Garnish: a grapefruit twist
Method:
Add all the ingredients except the garnish to a cocktail shaker and give it a good mix. Pour into a chilled coupe glass, garnish, and enjoy.
Almave Ambar Non-Alcoholic Blue Agave Spirit was made by master distiller of Casa Lumbre, Iván Saldaña, in a collab with Formula One World Champion Lewis Hamilton. This is the brand’s take on the Carajillo, a popular cocktail from Mexico traditionally made with espresso.
Ingredients:
50ml Almave Ambar Non-Alcoholic Blue Agave Spirit
25ml cold brew concentrate
10ml Agave Nectar
3 dashes of Orange Bitters
1 dash of Aromatic Bitters
A dash of salt
Garnish: an orange peel
Method:
Combine all ingredients in a shaker then add ice and shake vigorously. Strain into a small Coupe glass, shaking out all that good foam for a nice head. Lightly squeeze an orange peel on top and discard the peel.
This recipe came from Camille Vidal, a bartender-turned-mindful-drinking coach who used the unique Three Spirit Social Elixir (a blend of 11 plant-based ingredients from around the world, including lion’s mane, cacao, damiana, and yerba mate) to make a simple, delicious and party-friendly serve. This recipe makes a pitcher, as pictured.

250ml hibiscus tea
Top with ginger ale

Build in a carafe and serve over ice into rock glasses. Garnish with orange wheels and mint sprigs.
To create this healthy, no-alc riff on the classic Margarita, Pentire took all its finest coastal botanicals and blended them with lime, agave, sea salt and a dash of Mexican chilli. To make a fresh and zingy cocktail that’s entirely ready to drink, all you need to do is add ice and a garnish. How simple is that?
Ingredients:
100ml Pentire Margarita
Garnish: a lime wedge and a slice of chilli
Method:
Pour 100ml into a rocks glass over ice. Garnish with a lime wedge and a slice of chilli.

Ingredients:
1.5 oz Pallini Limonzero
3 oz non-alc sparkling wine/Prosecco (if you do want a drop of booze)
0.75 oz Lemon Juice

2 dashes Aromatic Bitters
Garnish: lemon or orange slices

Add all the ingredients to a large wine glass filled with ice and garnish with lemon or orange slices.

50ml espresso or cold brew coffee
15ml sugar syrup
Garnish: coffee beans, vanilla pods, cacao powder
Method:
Combine all ingredients except garnish in a cocktail tin, shake with ice and strain into a Coupette glass. Garnish abundantly with coffee beans, vanilla pods, and cacao powder.
