October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and on-premise operators are looking to do their part to show support for the cause. Here’s a quick look at some of the promotions on offer this year.
Throughout the month of October, The Nautilus Pier 4 in Boston is serving up a new charity cocktail called Pink Ribbon, Strong Women, which combines Aperol, St. Germain, sparkling rosé, lemon and soda. The Nautilus Pier 4 will donate $1 from each cocktail sold this month directly to The American Cancer Society Making Strides Against Breast Cancer.
The restaurant is also selling tie-dyed long-sleeve tees adorned with the iconic Breast Cancer Awareness pink ribbon at its Boston Seaport location or online here. All net proceeds will go directly to the ACS Making Strides Against Breast Cancer.
Bally’s Corp. has launched its annual Pink Your Drink campaign, dedicated to raising awareness and funds for the American Cancer Society’s movement to end breast cancer as we know it. Throughout October, Bally’s, in partnership with Teremana tequila, Cointreau, and American Beverage Marketers, will feature two specially cocktails, the Pink Your Drink Margarita and the Pink Your Drink Mocktail, at participating properties across the country.
The Pink Your Drink Margarita blends Teremana Blanco tequila, Cointreau, RE`AL watermelon and raspberry puree, pressed lime and simple syrup. The similarly prepared Pink Your Drink Mocktail substitutes soda water for alcohol.
For every Pink Your Drink cocktail or mocktail sold, each participating property will donate $1 to The American Cancer Society (ACS). Bally’s will also contribute $10,000 to the ACS. Participating Bally’s properties include Bally’s Atlantic City, Bally’s Dover, Bally’s Lincoln, Bally’s Tiverton Casino Hotel, Bally’s Black Hawk, Bally’s Evansville, Bally’s Kansas City, Bally’s Quad Cities, Bally’s Lake Tahoe, Hard Rock Hotel and Casino Biloxi, Bally’s Chicago and Bally’s Shreveport.

Held in Waldorf Astoria Chicago’s Peacock Lounge, service will be offered twice daily. The two-hour seatings feature live music and a curated, pink-themed food and drink menu.
Culinary offerings include a selection of scones and tea breads with clotted cream and fruit preserves; tea sandwiches, such as the classic Waldorf Chicken Salad, Cucumber with Cream Cheese and Pea Tendrils, and Smoked Salmon with Brie and Dill; and pastries including macarons, dipped strawberries, mixed berry white tea pavlova, and more.
