Champagne house Veuve Clicquot has unveiled Rich and Rich Rosé, two new easy-to-drink expressions specially designed to be served very chilled or on ice. The wines were made for versatile enjoyment whether at home, on the beach, at the pool or in the snow, according to the company.
Rich, a blend of 50% pinot noir, 30% meunier, 20% chardonnay, 40%-45% reserve wines, combines exotic and orchard fruits such as pineapple, mango, and Mirabelle plum with the freshness of lemongrass, the company says. Rich Rosé, with 50% pinot noir, 30% meunier, 20% chardonnay, 15% of red wines, 40%-45% reserve wines, unites red fruit such as strawberry, raspberry, and red currant with exotic and peppermint notes.
Both the new Veuve Clicquot cuvées will be available nationally as of early fall with a suggested retail price of $68 for Rich and $72 for Rich Rosé.
