United Airlines Offering Crafthouse Cocktails RTDs

Passengers on select United Airlines flights can now enjoy Crafthouse Cocktails, created by James Beard Award-winning mixologist Charles Joly. The lineup includes three new drinks created in collaboration with United — the Espresso Martini, Mai Tai, Moonlighter and Pineapple Daiquiri.

United customers on domestic flights 300 miles or more can now order Crafthouse Cocktails’ Espresso Martini and Moonlighter, and flights between the continental U.S. and Hawaii also offer Crafthouse Cocktails’ Mai Tai and Pineapple Daiquiri. The new drinks — the first canned cocktails the airline has offered on domestic flights — are complimentary for passengers in United Business and United First and available for purchase in United Economy for $12.

Crafthouse Cocktails, founded in 2013 by Joly and restaurateur Matt Lindner, boast the same premium spirits and high-quality ingredients that Joly uses behind the bar. For example, the Pineapple Daiquiri combines Planteray Stiggins’ Fancy Pineapple Rum and O.F.T.D. Overproof Rum with lime and bitters. The gluten-free cocktails are also free from artificial sweeteners, colors and preservatives.
