Crafted in Northern California with the beauty of the region’s iconic redwood giants as a backdrop, Redwood Empire Whiskey distills its award-winning bourbon and rye whiskeys. Mixed into a cocktail or sipped neat, all 14 expressions of Redwood Empire Whiskey are as unique and distinct as the real-life trees they’re named after.

At Redwood Empire Whiskey, mash bills start with a selection of corn, wheat, rye, and barley grains from the finest growing regions of the Midwest and California. After distillation, each expression then undergoes barrel maturation through refined techniques and expert blending processes before being bottled.

Every label of Redwood Empire Whiskey features a different woodcut artwork accompanied by a quote from revered naturalist and wilderness preservationist John Muir. It’s just one of the ways this Northern California-based distillery keeps its appreciation of the environment at the forefront of everything it does. Other sustainability initiatives include working with locally sourced grains in order to lower its overall carbon footprint and feeding local livestock with leftover mash material.

In 2020, Redwood Empire Whiskey began working with non-profit Trees for the Future to solidify its commitment to sustainability and help ensure a greener future.
