What sets mine apart? Most people use water, but I use chicken broth to add the best flavor, combined with the 3 seasoning packets!

Meal Prep Idea: Make a large batch of this and use the chicken for dinners through the week. You could make tacos, salads, sandwiches, wraps, etc.

Ingredients Needed

Chicken: Boneless skinless chicken thighs are a great alternative to using chicken breasts!

Prefer thicker gravy? Make a slurry of 1 tbsp cornstarch and 1 tbsp water, then stir it into the sauce to thicken.

This recipe could not be easier. Put the chicken in, whisk up the packets and broth, set it and forget it! I’m all about saving you guys time and money! We got this!

Prepare: Spray the inside of the slow cooker with non-stick cooking spray. Or, add a slow cooker liner for easier cleanup, then place chicken at the bottom of the slow cooker.

Whisk: In a medium-sized bowl, combine chicken broth, 1 packet of ranch dressing mix, 1 packet of Italian dressing mix, and 1 packet of chicken gravy mix. Whisk together until the powders are dissolved.

Pour: Pour the broth mixture over the chicken in the crock pot.

Cook and Shred: Cover and then cook on LOW for 5 hours or HIGH for 4 hours. Shred the chicken using two forks and then serve with mashed potatoes or rice!

Instant Pot Instructions

Follow steps 1-3 in your Instant Pot. Secure the lid and seal the valve. Cook on High Pressure for 20 minutes. Once the timer is up, let the pressure release naturally for 10 minutes. Then shred and serve!
