Music has always been more than just sound to me. It’s a feeling, a rhythm that moves through every part of life. From soulful ballads to electrifying beats, music tells stories, evokes emotions, and creates connections. It inspires my creativity behind the bar, shaping the way I craft cocktails with depth and harmony. Just like a great song, a well-made drink should have balance, passion, and a lasting impression. Whether behind the bar or just vibing to a classic album, music is always at the heart of what I do.
When I created my Edmond Honors-inspired cocktail, I knew it needed a name that carried soul, depth, and timeless artistry just like Edmond’s Honors Legacy and that of “The Great Marvin Gaye.” Inspired by his classic album I Want You, this cocktail embodies smooth complexity and undeniable passion. Just like his music, it’s meant to be savored…”
Add all your ingredients to a shaker tin (dry shake) 8-10 times.

The Suzanne is named after Sainte Suzanne, the hometown Edmond Albius; the horticulturalist famous for inventing the hand-pollinating method for vanilla orchids which revolutionized vanilla cultivation.
Add all ingredients to mixing glass and stir with ice.
Strain into small coupe, express orange peel, garnish with orange twist.
I wanted to lean into the vanilla in Edmond’s Honor, and what better way than a delicious peachy delight? While it took inspiration from a homey comfort dessert, this cocktail is not overly sweet. I wanted to highlight the vanilla that was already there and let the bourbon shine through as the star, and I love fresh thyme as a savory touch with vanilla and peach.

I wanted to let this exquisite bourbon truly shine in my cocktail, as its remarkable story is filled with passion and innovation. The spirit’s namesake, Edmond, was a visionary pioneer who, at a young age, dreamed of transforming an entire industry through the groundbreaking technique he created. To highlight its vanilla notes, I paired it with a touch of sweetness from dark demerara sugar, and I enhanced the bourbon’s honey undertones with a splash of blood orange for a fruity twist. The cocktail is beautifully garnished with a blood orange wheel and a candied ginger button.
I adore how the vanilla takes center stage in the flavor profile of this cocktail, celebrating Edmond’s legacy.
Combine all ingredients, shake & double strain into collins glass.
Garnish with blood orange flower with a candied ginger button.
This cocktail inspired by my time bartending in Sydney, where it was commonplace for cocktail bars to serve a pour of bourbon with a whole freshly juiced Granny Smith apple, as well as the flavors you would encounter when going to a local fair or carnival.
