Filmland Spirits Releases Moonlight Mayhem! 2 The White Port Wolf

Filmland Spirits announced today the sequel to its initial release. Moonlight Mayhem! 2 The White Port Wolf is a 7-year-old straight bourbon whiskey finished in white port casks.

Filmland Spirits launched in 2022, and blends a B-Movie concept – complete with monsters, robots and over-the-top plots – with whiskeys.

“Moonlight Mayhem! was our first release, and it met with such a tremendous response from critics and consumers alike, that we knew the story wasn’t finished,” says Troy Bolotnick, founder and CEO. “We began to think about how a unique finish could add to the flavor of what was already an exceptional bourbon. The result is another delicious limited release.”

Moonlight Mayhem! 2 The White Port Wolf has citrus and licorice on the nose, vanilla and cardamom on the palate and an earthy finish with grassy undertones and a wash of roasted hazelnut, according to the company.

In keeping with the Filmland Spirits creative process, this latest expression was inspired by an original B-movie concept. Moonlight Mayhem! 2 The White Port Wolf continues the saga of “star-crossed-lovers-on-the-run,” Tommy and Sylvane. As the company tells the tale: “Having reached Napa Valley, the couple unknowingly trespass into the territory of the White Port Wolf, and Tommy is wounded. Will our heroes escape, or will they continue to battle The Terror of Terroir? Only a sip will tell…’Is true love is finished?’ Watch the trailer here.”
