Proper No. Twelve Unveils 13YO Single Malt Irish Whiskey

Proper No. Twelve Irish Whiskey has launched its first limited release: Proper No. Twelve 13-Year-Old Single Malt.

Bottled at 86 proof and made from 100% malted barley, this 13-year-old single malt is aged in a blend of American Oak first-fill bourbon casks and European Oak second-fill Ruby Port casks. The bourbon casks are meant to impart sweetness, vanilla and warm spice, while the Ruby Port casks layer in notes of ripe fruit and gentle tannins.

“The release of our 13-Year-Old Single Malt marks a major milestone in Proper No. Twelve’s journey, as the brand launches its first aged single malt whiskey,” says Lander Otegui, EVP of marketing for Proximo Spirits. “This 13-Year-Old Single Malt is a more refined expression that still holds true to our roots — bold, accessible, and built for those who appreciate character. It’s a celebration of the exciting future ahead as we continue to expand the brand’s Irish whiskey offerings and disruptor approach to the category.”

This limited-time offering is now available for purchase at retailers in Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Tennessee, Texas and Arizona for a suggested retail price of $59.99 per 750-ml. bottle.
