New York-based cannabis brand The Travel Agency just opened its latest location in the heart of SoHo.
Following the success of its Union Square, Downtown Brooklyn and Fifth Avenue locations, The Travel Agency SoHo features immersive, art-driven environments that feel more like contemporary galleries than traditional dispensaries, according to the brand.
Designed in close collaboration with leading creative studios, the SoHo store experience is anchored by:
Leong Leong Architecture: Continuing their longstanding partnership with The Travel Agency, Leong Leong brings their award-winning minimalist-futurist design ethos to SoHo with a “space” concept — a sleek, sculptural environment that reflects the neighborhood’s boundary-pushing spirit.
Big Heavy Studios: The custom fabrication elements add to a gallery-style presentation of products, positioning cannabis as an integral part of cultural and artistic expression. This approach elevates the cannabis shopping experience beyond traditional retail norms.
Breakfast Studio: The inclusion of a kinetic art installation by Andrew Zolty introduces a dynamic, interactive element to the store. The installation creates a living, data-driven pulse within the space, enhancing the immersive atmosphere.
Bringing a fresh global perspective to cannabis retail, The Travel Agency SoHo will also feature a curated Bong Gallery that showcases functional cannabis art from Serena Confalonieri and Juan Manuel Carmona, according to the brand.
Located at 598 Broadway, just south of Houston Street, The Travel Agency SoHo dispensary operates under New York’s SEE (Social and Economic Equity) program. The SoHo store hosted a ribbon-cutting ceremony on May 7th, with a grand opening celebration soon to follow on May 28th.
