Founder’s Reserve Series – Single Barrel Añejo Tequila

Suavecito Tequila is introducing the Founder’s Reserve Series – Single Barrel Añejo Tequila. This limited-release is crafted from blue Weber agave grown in volcanic soil at 7,000 feet on the slopes of Volcán de Tequila in Jalisco.

After undergoing a process of slow-roasting and distillation, the tequila is then aged for 24 months in retired Kentucky Bourbon barrels, according to the brand. Then, it’s finished for six months in new French oak barrels.

Each bottle of the 2024 Founder’s Reserve is individually numbered and signed by Suavecito Tequila founder Bill Foss. Only 15 barrels of the inaugural release were produced, according to the brand. Additionally, the Founder’s Reserve is bottled at barrel strength, with an ABV ranging from 51% to 54%.

“Savor it slowly,” Foss shared in a news release. “Every drop tells a story—of the land, the craft and our passion for creating something truly exceptional.”

The Suavecito Founder’s Reserve Series – Single Barrel Añejo Tequila is now available in limited quantities nationally through Total Wine & More stores.
