MoM Hakushu Competition 2025 T&Cs
THE PROMOTER: The promoter is Atom Supplies Limited (company registration number 03193057), trading as Master of Malt (MoM) and having its registered office at Unit 1 Ton Business Park, 2-8 Morley Road, Tonbridge, Kent, TN9 1RA, United Kingdom.
THESE TERMS AND PRIVACY POLICY: By entering this competition, entrants confirm they have read and understood these terms and the MoM Privacy Policy (and the way we process personal data), and agree that these terms and the MoM Privacy Policy are binding to them. MoM reserves the right to amend these terms and to hold void, suspend, cancel or amend this competition at any time.
ELIGIBILITY: This competition is only open to private individuals acting in their capacity as retail consumers who are 18 years or older and are residents of the United Kingdom. To be eligible, the shipping address for the winning entry must be in the UK. Ineligible entries (howsoever received) will be discarded. The competition is not open to any employees of MoM or any of its associated companies (nor their immediate families). MoM reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and entrants (including an entrant’s identity, age and place of residence) at any time and reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual or entrant who it believes has breached any of these terms, tampered with the entry process or engaged in any unlawful or improper conduct which may undermine the fair and proper conduct of this competition, and to discard any entry which reflects any such conduct.
ENTRY/COMPETITION PERIOD: This competition opens at 09:00:00 UK time on 14 JULY 2025 and closes at 23:59:59 UK time on 10 AUGUST 2025 (the entry period).
HOW TO ENTER: To enter, eligible individuals must within the entry period purchase one of the following products listed below from www.masterofmalt.com (each a qualifying product): Hakushu Distiller’s Reserve (70cl • 43%); Hakushu 12 Year Old (70cl • 43%); Hakushu 18 Year Old (70cl • 43%); Hakushu 25 Year Old (70cl • 43%); Yamazaki Distiller’s Reserve (70cl • 43%); Yamazaki 12 Year Old (70cl • 43%); Yamazaki 18 Year Old (70cl • 43%); Yamazaki 25 Year Old (70cl • 43%); Hibiki Japanese Harmony (70cl • 43%); Hibiki 21 Year Old (70cl • 43%); Hibiki 30 Year Old (70cl • 43%). Multiple entries are permitted! For a purchase to be a qualifying entry: (i) it must be made on www.masterofmalt.com; (ii) it must be completed within the entry period (i.e. payment approved and order confirmation received before the expiry of the entry period); and (iii) it must be made on and subject to MoM’s standard Consumer Terms of Business (a qualifying entry). Any determination whether a purchase is a qualifying entry will be made by MoM in its sole discretion.
WINNER: MoM will choose 1 winner at random out of all qualifying entries. The winner will be selected after the entry period ends. The selection of the winner will be final and no correspondence or discussion will be entered into.
THE PRIZE: The winner will win two stall tickets to the Grand Sumo Tournament 2025 held at the Royal Albert Hall on 18 October 2025.
IMPORTANT DETAILS ABOUT THE PRIZE: The two tickets will be valid for a one-day entry to the tournament on Saturday 18 October 2025. Doors will open at 18:00 p.m. and the tournament shall start at 19:30 p.m. The Grand Sumo Tournament will be held at The Auditorium, Royal Albert Hall, Kensington Gore, South Kensington, London SW7 2AP. All costs or expenses incurred by the winner and their guest in taking up the prize and attending the tournament (including the cost of travelling to and from the tournament) shall be the sole responsibility of the winner and their guest. All attendees aged 14 years or below must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 years or over. The tickets are provided by Suntory Global Spirits UK Ltd. The prize is strictly non-negotiable, non-transferable, and cannot be exchanged for any equivalent cash value, cash alternative, or for any other items. MoM reserves the right to substitute the prize with an alternative prize (or prizes) of equal or greater value in its sole discretion.
CLAIMING THE PRIZE: The winner will be selected after the entry period expires. The name of the winner will be announced on MoM’s blog as soon as practicable following selection. MoM will make reasonable efforts to contact the winner via email or by telephone as soon as practicable. If the winner cannot be contacted or has not claimed the prize within 5 days of MoM making reasonable attempts to contact them, MoM reserves the right to select an alternative qualifying entry and to offer the prize to another entrant. MoM cannot accept any responsibility if any winner is unable to claim the prize within the time limit set out above. MoM may contact the winner and entrants for feedback in respect of the competition and/or prize and may use any feedback provided when announcing the results and promoting the competition or subsequent competitions.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY: MoM shall not be responsible for any purchase which does not qualify you for entry for any reason (for example, due to technical error, payment error or connection failure). MoM shall not be responsible for delivery of any prize to an incorrect address. MoM will not be able to ship the prize to any winner who is not able to provide a valid shipping address in the United Kingdom. In the event the winner is unable to provide a valid UK shipping address, MoM will offer the prize to another eligible entrant picked at random. Insofar as is permitted by law, none of MoM, its agents, employees, and/or representatives shall be responsible or liable to compensate any competition entrant and/or the winner (or their guest) for any loss, damage, personal injury or death whatsoever and howsoever caused, whether in contract, tort (including negligence), breach of statutory duty, or otherwise, arising out of or in connection with their participation in this competition (including (without limitation) in taking up any prize or attending the tournament), except where caused by the proven negligence of MoM, its agents, employees, and/or authorised representatives. Competition entrants’ statutory rights are not affected.
GENERAL: All decisions relating to this competition will be made in MoM’s absolute discretion and will be final. No correspondence or discussion will be entered into. Should a social media channel be used for this competition, MoM confirms that this competition is not sponsored or endorsed by the social media platform identified herein and said social media platform is in no way affiliated to or associated with MoM. By entering this competition, users agree to release that social media channel from any and all liability related to this competition. These terms shall be governed by English law, and the parties submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
