ORRA Debuts New THC-Infused Cocktail

ORRA is offering cannabis consumers a ready-to-drink, zero-proof bottled cocktail infused with delta-9 THC extracted from hemp. Initial batch cocktail flavors include Strawberry Basil, Cucumber Watermelon, Spicy Ginger Mule and Chili Lime Mango.

Online preorders are now open, with products available throughout select retailers this summer, according to the company.

“Crafted for modern drinkers and perfect for slow summer sipping, ORRA is a refreshing, calm kick to close out your day,” said co-founder Blake Jones in a news release. “It offers a functional buzz, blending the pleasure of premium cocktails with the clarity of mindful consumption.”

ORRA is free of alcohol, sugar and carbonation, according to the company, and best enjoyed over ice or in a cocktail. Packaged in a 750-ml. bottle ($39.99), it’s infused with 5 mg of hemp-derived delta-9 THC per serving. The effects take 20 to 60 minutes to kick in, depending on metabolism and fullness.

“A stark contrast to the canned seltzers that dominate the THC beverage market, ORRA is a non-alcoholic, premium bottled cocktail that allows you to pour at your own pace,” said co-founder David McIntyre in the release. “Our moderate dosing aligns with what consumers are looking for — clarity and calm — made with minimal ingredients and perfect for wellness-minded consumers.”
