Ana Rosenstein made her grand entrance into the beverage alcohol industry by co-founding Amante 1530, an amaro brand that’s the base for many popular spritz cocktails.

Under Rosenstein’s guidance, Amante 1530 has successfully set itself apart as a trailblazer in the amaro category. Her background in consumer venture capital has allowed her to identify market opportunities, secure partnerships and foster sustainable growth in the competitive spirits category.

As a young CEO, Rosenstein is an active angel investor and mentors young founders, helping them build their companies from day one. She is also particularly hands-on with founders building in the women’s healthcare and reproductive spaces.

Operating as a woman in a predominantly male-dominated field is no easy feat. “While I have certainly encountered moments of sexism—often subtle and unintentional, ingrained in social dynamics—my greater challenge lies in how I view my own role within that context,” Rosenstein says.

“I never want to be seen as succeeding simply because I am a woman,” she continues. “To me, that would be equally problematic, as it feels counterproductive to meritocracy. The constant challenge for me, therefore, is navigating a professional landscape where I am often one of the few women and ensuring that my contributions are valued for their substance, not my gender.”

Under Rosenstein’s dynamic leadership, Amante 1530 has emerged as a formidable player in the thriving amaro space. Which has experienced remarkable growth in recent years.

In just one year, she has propelled the brand to new heights, establishing its presence in eight countries, securing placements in restaurants nationwide and generating bicoastal brand awareness. Rosenstein’s unique blend of experience and vision continues to drive Amante 1530’s ascent.
