Outback Uncorks New Australian Wine

Outback Steakhouse has unveiled Kangaroo Court — a new wine crafted by Australian winemaker Mollydooker. The cabernet shiraz blend was designed to match the casual dining brand’s signature steaks.

Kangaroo Court — which comes with three unique kangaroo-themed labels and is only available at Outback for now — combines two iconic varietals to deliver a bold, harmonious wine layered with forest fruits, spice and decadent chocolate-vanilla cream, according to the company. It finishes with smooth tannins and lingering notes of mocha and licorice for a rich, modern experience.

Outback, part of Tampa, FL-based Bloomin’ Brands, released the Kangaroo Court news just in time for International Left-Handers Day on Aug. 13. Why? Because Mollydooker is run largely by lefties and takes its name from an old Australian slang term for someone that’s left-handed.
