Narragansett Beer Now Available in Alabama

New England craft brewer Narragansett Beer is bringing a taste of Rhode Island to the Yellowhammer State. Now available in 28 states, Narragansett, the beer affectionally referred to as ‘Gansett, will now offer its award-winning Lager at on- and off-premise locations across Alabama.

Following successful growth across the Mid-Atlantic, Midwest and Northern California, Narragansett is partnering with Adams Beverage (Birmingham), Bama Budweiser (Montgomery), Bud Busch (Mobile) and Turner Beverages (Huntsville), according to the brewer.

“Alabama is an exciting new market for us, and we’re proud to partner with some great distributors to make this happen,” said Mark Hellendrung, president of Narragansett Beer, in a news release. “With its incredible hospitality and growing passion for great beer, Alabama is writing a vibrant new chapter in craft brewing. We’re thrilled to join the story, raise a ’Gansett with new neighbors, and share a little New England tradition down South!”

Recently named the 19th largest craft brewer in the U.S. by the Brewers Association, Narragansett’s flagship Lager is supported by a lineup of beers, including Atlantic Light, Fresh Catch and Musik Express IPA, according to the brewery, alongside seasonal releases and mash-ups with brands such as Del’s Lemonade, Autocrat Coffee and the estate of Bing Crosby for the festive White Christmas Winter Warmer.
