Wine 101: Silver Oak

Up next on our journey through Napa Valley is Silver Oak, a winery established in 1972 by Ray Duncan and Justin Meyer. But while the winery itself was founded in the early ‘70s, its roots trace back decades earlier with the formation of Christian Brothers. Since the very beginning, Silvery Oak has distinguished itself from other Napa Cabs by exclusively aging its wines in American oak barrels.

Today on the “Wine 101” podcast, Keith dives into the history of Silver Oak, a winery that stands out for sticking to a unique mission statement. Tune in for more.
