Family-owned wine company Quintessential announced it will serve as California distributor for Aveleda, a producer from Portugal’s Vinho Verde region.
“A growing number of consumers are seeking lighter-bodied, lower-alcohol, refreshing wines — and Aveleda makes some of the best,” said Dennis Kreps, co-owner, Quintessential, in a news release. “There’s a reason these are among the most desired Vinho Verdes in the world, and we’re honored to work with the Guedes family to take Aveleda to the next level. This partnership deepens Quintessential’s presence in California and cements its standing in one of the world’s most competitive wine markets.”
Under the agreement, Quintessential will distribute a range of Aveleda Vinho Verde and Alvarinho bottlings, according to the company, with emphasis on Aveleda Fonte White Vinho Verde and Casal Garcia Vinho Verde.
