Sweetens Cove Releases Two New Bourbons

Sweetens Cove Spirits has unveiled two new bourbons: a Sweetens Cove 5-Year Aged Tennessee Straight Bourbon Whiskey and Sweetens Cove Dunwoody, a 6-Year Aged Wheated Tennessee Bourbon. Founded by a group of passionate golfers, including Hall of Fame quarterback Peyton Manning, tennis great Andy Roddick, developer Skip Bronson and country music artist Drew Holcomb, the company is named for the Sweetens Cove golf course in Tennessee.

The Sweetens Cove 5-Year Aged Tennessee Bourbon is bottled at 93.7 proof and has distinct notes of caramel, honey, sweet toasted oak, baking spice and bright fruit, according to the company. The Sweetens Cove Dunwoody 6-Year Aged Wheated Tennessee Bourbon, named after the legendary tree that overlooks the course, is a rich and mellow 95-proof wheated bourbon with notes of vanilla, toffee, dried fruit and brown sugar.

“We set out to capture the feeling of that first tee shot — the laughter, the anticipation, the excitement  —  and pour it into every bottle,” said cofounder Andy Roddick. “Sweetens Cove is about savoring life’s little moments, whether on the golf course with friends or at home with family.”

Sweetens Cove bourbons are available at select restaurants, bar, and golf courses in Florida, Tennessee, Georgia, Colorado, South Carolina and North Carolina, and nationally via online shipping at sweetenscovespirits.com. The suggested retail price is $45 for the 5-Year aged Tennessee Bourbon and $60 for the Dunwoody 6-Year Wheated expression.
