Little Book, from The James B. Beam Distilling Co., has announced the release of The Infinite: Edition II.
In 2012, Freddie Noe stepped into the family business his father, Fred, and grandfather, Booker, helped build, making three generations of Beam family distillers. Later he would found the brand Little Book to explore his passion for whiskey blending.
Little Book The Infinite: Edition II is part of a line extension launched in 2024 with the intent of bringing three generations together to create a whiskey meant to grow richer each year as new liquids are added to the original blend.
Booker’s bourbon brings oak, char and smoke, the distillery reports, while Fred Noe’s bourbon adds rich vanilla, caramel and dark stone fruit, and Freddie Noe’s bourbon brings brightness with fresh apple and pear. The whiskeys used were as follows:
Booker’s component – Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey – Aged 22 years
Fred’s component – Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey – Aged 10 years
Freddie’s component – Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey (Extended Fermentation) – Aged 7 years
Shared Family component – Little Book The Infinite I
The result is an aroma of apple and pear mingled with caramel and char, according to distillery notes, before flavors of vanilla, caramel and apple with hints of dark stone fruit. On the finish is oak and smoke.
The suggested retail price of Little Book The Infinite: Edition II is $199.99 per 750-ml. bottle.
This follows the recent release of Knob Creek 21 Year Old.
