Gunpowder Irish Gin Launches Italian Fig & Laurel

Gunpowder Irish Gin has announced the launch of Gunpowder Irish Gin with Italian Fig & Laurel.

This is a collaboration with mixologist Bruno Vanzan. The collaboration introduces two new botanicals – Italian Viola Fig and Tuscan Juniper – joining the original 12 botanicals sourced from nine exotic countries.

The result is aromas and flavors of fresh citrus, Oriental botanicals and Gunpowder Tea, the company reports, with fig, laurel and Tuscan juniper.

“We are delighted to continue our journey through Italy with the launch of Gunpowder Irish Gin with Italian Fig & Laurel,” says PJ Rigney. “Collaborating with Bruno Vanzan on this release was a true pleasure. As a two-time mixology world champion from Italy, Bruno was uniquely qualified to craft a gin that is perfectly suited to cocktail experimentation.”

The addition of the Gunpowder Irish Gin with Italian Fig & Laurel joins an portfolio of gins made by PJ Rigney. The flagship expression, with its bold blue bottle, is distilled in copper pot stills. The range has since expanded to include the California Orange Citrus Edition, the Sardinian Citrus Edition and now Italian Fig & Laurel.

The Gunpowder Irish Gin with Italian Fig & Laurel retails for $37.99 per 750-ml. bottle, and is now available nationwide and exclusively at Publix in FL and KY.
