The Director of Operational Effectiveness is responsible for providing leadership for facilities, inventory control and warehouse management systems at Horizon Beverage.
Coordinate, manage and monitor the workings of various departments in the organization
Review financial statements and data and utilize data to improve profitability
Prepare, control and manage operational budgets
Control total inventory management by ensuring the compliance of receiving and inventory control procedures; Develop/recommend alterations to procedures and best practices as warranted
Working knowledge of Six Sigma and Lean Methodologies and strong root cause analytical abilities
Improve processes and policies in support of organizational goals
Formulate and implement departmental and organizational policies and procedures to maximize output
Monitor adherence to rules, regulations and procedures
Coordinate and monitor the work of various departments involved in production, warehousing and distribution of goods
Monitor warehouse performance and implement improvements
Manage the quality and quantity of employee productivity
Lead all building projects (i.e. warehouse systems, building/conveyor improvements)
Provide MHE technical support and provide recommendations to maximize efficiencies
Manage the maintenance of equipment and machinery
Ensure safety compliance of all team members
Monitor, manage and improve the efficiency of support services
Perform other related duties as assigned
Bachelor’s Degree
7 years of experience or equivalent education and related experience
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Strong organization, multi-tasking and time management skills
Experience with various ERP, CMMS, software systems
Experience in wholesale or operational management or other related industries
Demonstrated knowledge of SAP system or similar system
