One of the weekend’s signature highlights was the Grand Tasting, where guests sampled hundreds of wines, beers, and spirits alongside gourmet bites from regional restaurants and culinary partners. Vendors across the Earth Expo & Convention Center offered everything from steak tartare and international street food to specialty snacks and creative small plates, showcasing the breadth of the festival’s culinary reach.
Celebrity appearances added star power throughout the weekend. Baseball Hall of Famer David Ortiz hosted a fan-focused “Toast with the Host” event, celebrating his Ozama Rum brand while mingling with attendees, while a lineup of well-known chefs delivered demonstrations, curated tastings, and collaborative dining experiences across the property.
Fan-favorite experiential events continued to define the festival’s programming, including the Celebrity Chef Dine Around, where more than 20 chefs presented signature dishes paired with wines, beers, or spirits, and the Celebrity Chef After-Party, which extended the celebration late into the evening with cocktails, DJs, and nightlife activations.
The weekend wrapped with brunch-focused programming, including a closing Brunch in the Shed event that delivered elevated comfort dishes, cocktails, and a relaxed finale to one of the Northeast’s largest winter culinary festivals.
Now in its third decade, the Sun Wine & Food Fest continues to blend large-scale tasting experiences with celebrity talent and nightlife energy, reinforcing its position as one of the region’s premier destination food-and-drink events.
