Pendleton Whisky Brings the Spirit of the West to Guy’s 2026 Flavortown Tailgate

When the Big Game rolls into town, so does Flavortown.

When Guy Fieri, the Mayor of Flavortown, hosts a pre-Big Game celebration, he doesn’t just do lunch. He creates a 10,000-person culinary spectacle. For the most recent Guy’s Flavortown Tailgate, the high-octane energy found its perfect liquid match in Pendleton Whisky, the official whisky partner of the festival.

Pendleton Whisky served as the official whisky partner for Guy Fieri’s 2026 Flavortown Tailgate, featuring custom cocktails and the “Guy x Pendleton Big Game Day Saloon” at the Cow Palace on February 9. The Western-themed activation included a mechanical bull, on-site customization, and signature drinks that immersed guests in a spirited saloon experience.

The Guy x Pendleton Big Game Day Saloon

The centerpiece of Pendleton’s presence was the Guy x Pendleton Big Game Day Saloon, a large-scale activation designed to deliver a “taste of the West” amid the neon-lit food stalls of Flavortown. The saloon was more than a bar. It was a full sensory experience featuring:

Mechanical Bull Riding: For fans looking to earn their pours, the saloon featured a signature mechanical bull, a nod to Pendleton’s deep rodeo heritage.

The Customization Station: Attendees could take home more than memories, with an on-site station offering customization of Pendleton gear.

Crafting the Flavortown Serve

Pendleton’s smooth, oak-aged profile, cut with glacier-fed water from Mt. Hood, served as the foundation for the event’s cocktail program.

Custom Cocktails: Mixologists curated a menu of specialty drinks served throughout the grounds, ensuring every bite of Guy’s Trash Can Nachos or custom sliders had a bold pairing.

VIP Access: While general admission fans could purchase pours at the Saloon, VIP ticket holders enjoyed Pendleton as part of an all-inclusive four-hour premium open bar.
