Southern Glazer’s Acquires Eagle Rock Distributing Co.
Southern Glazer’s Wine & Spirits (Southern Glazer’s) has reached an agreement to acquire substantially all the assets of Eagle Rock Distributing Co.’s (Eagle Rock) Colorado operations, a total beverage distributor in Colorado.
Expected to close in the summer of 2026, the transaction presents an opportunity to distribute Anheuser-Busch’s full product portfolio currently sold in Colorado, according to the company. Southern Glazer’s will distribute everything from its industry-leading beer brands, including Michelob ULTRA, Busch Light, Budweiser and Bud Light, to its fast-growing hard beverages, including Cutwater Spirits, NÜTRL Vodka Seltzer and BeatBox Beverages, to its new energy drink line, Phorm Energy—along with Tilray Brands, Sazerac Company and a range of brands from additional suppliers.
“This acquisition enables Southern Glazer’s to significantly expand its total beverage distribution in Colorado by adding high profile brands to our portfolio that strategically align with our total beverage strategy,” said Wayne E. Chaplin, president and CEO, Southern Glazer’s Wine & Spirits, in a news release. “Eagle Rock has built a strong business in Colorado with a highly respected team and valued supplier partnerships. By bringing our organizations together, we can expand opportunities for suppliers, provide even greater choice and service for customers, and continue building on our leadership in the marketplace.”

Upon closing, Southern Glazer’s plans to continue operations out of their existing facilities and distribute the Eagle Rock portfolio across the Colorado markets currently serviced by the operation.

Both companies are working in close coordination to support a seamless transition and maintain uninterrupted service for customers and suppliers, according to the company.
