PourMe Beverages Launches Three New THC-Infused Beverages

PourMe Beverages recently launched three THC-infused beverage brands, specifically formulated to comply with regulations in Florida, Georgia and Tennessee. Additional markets are planned in the coming weeks.

“Navigating the hemp-derived beverage industry reminds me of everything I’ve read about alcohol in the immediate post-prohibition era,” said Jamey Grosser, founder of PourMe Beverages, in a news release. “It is highly regulated, confusing, and exploding in popularity. But industries like this always grow into something massive.”

In preparing for this launch, Grosser compiled not only a team of sales, market and production experts, but he also built an operation capable of tailoring product formulations and packaging requirements to comply with specific market regulations, according to the brand. He has also attracted distribution partners to build a network.

Products will launch initially in Florida, Georgia and Tennessee, according to the brand, where the portfolio will be distributed by Gold Coast Eagle Distributing, Lipman Brothers and others.

“This reminds me of when craft beer and hard seltzers first emerged. People initially scoffed at them, but we won’t be late to this category,” said John Saputo, CEO, Gold Coast Eagle Distributing, in the release. “The Delta-9 THC drinks market is still in its infancy — like a small fish swimming among beer, wine, and spirits whales – in Florida, we’re moving more than 3,000 cases a month, and growing 10 to 20 percent. We’re looking for the right brands and PourMe Beverages with their commitment to quality, transparency and compliance fits the bill.”

At launch, the PourMe Beverages portfolio includes three brands:

Joe Stash

Named for Joseph Killebrew, the first Commissioner of Agriculture in Tennessee, who single handedly built the hemp industry in the 1800s. Available in 10mg THC in 12-oz or 16-oz cans (4-packs), in Half & Half Tea and Raspberry Tea flavors.

Weltzer

This bubbly, zero-calorie, zero-sugar beverage is infused with low-dose THC. It’s available in 5mg THC in 12-oz cans (4-packs) in Ginger Peach and Passion Fruit Pear flavors.

Lettus

Crafted for the social butterflies and extroverts. Available in 10mg THC in 12-oz cans and 12mg THC in 16-oz cans (4-packs) in Citrus and Orange flavors.
