MoM Explore Scotch Whisky 2025 T&Cs
1. THE PROMOTER: The promoter is Atom Supplies Limited (company register number 03193057), trading as Master of Malt (MoM) and having its registered office at Unit 1 Ton Business Park, 2-8 Morley Road, Tonbridge, Kent, TN9 1RA, United Kingdom.
2. THESE TERMS AND PRIVACY POLICY: By entering this competition, entrants confirm they have read and understood these terms and the MoM Privacy Policy (and the way we process personal data), and agree that these terms and the MoM Privacy Policy are binding to them. MoM reserves the right to amend these terms and to hold void, suspend, cancel or amend this competition at any time.
3. ELIGIBILITY: This competition is only open to private individuals acting in their capacity as retail consumers who are 18 years or older and are residents of the United Kingdom. To be eligible, the shipping address for the winning entry must be in the UK. Ineligible entries (howsoever received) will be discarded. The competition is not open to any employees of MoM or any of its associated companies (nor their immediate families). MoM reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and entrants (including an entrant’s identity, age and place of residence) at any time and reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual or entrant who it believes has breached any of these terms, tampered with the entry process or engaged in any unlawful or improper conduct which may undermine the fair and proper conduct of this competition, and to discard any entry which reflects any such conduct.
4. ENTRY/COMPETITION PERIOD: This competition opens at 09:00:00 UK time on 17 February 2025 and closes at 23:59:59 UK time on 30 March 2025 (the entry period).
5. HOW TO ENTER: To enter, eligible individuals must purchase a product from the list of products below from www.masterofmalt.com during the entry period. Please note each bottle of qualifying product represents a different number of entries entered into the competition as outlined below. The qualifying products are as follows:

The qualifying list of products above includes products from 7 different whisky brands.
For a purchase to be a qualifying entry: (i) it must be made on www.masterofmalt.com; (ii) it must be completed within the entry period (i.e. payment approved and order confirmation received before the expiry of the entry period); and (iii) it must be made on and subject to MoM’s standard Consumer Terms of Business (a qualifying entry). Multiple entries are permitted! Any determination whether a purchase is a qualifying entry will be made by MoM in its sole discretion.
6. WINNER(S): Shortly after the entry period finishes, MoM will collate all qualifying entries and separate them based on the brand of whisky purchased. Out of all qualifying entries for each whisky brand, one winner will be selected at random. Therefore, there will be 6 winners in total and 6 prizes. Each winner’s prize will correspond to the brand of whisky they purchased. For example, if a bottle of Lagavulin is purchased, that qualifying entry will be grouped with all other Lagavulin entries, and if the entrant is then selected as the winner, the corresponding prize trip will be the Lagavulin Distillery prize trip. Entrants will not be able to enter the competition by purchasing a bottle of Glen Scotia and choose or win the Lagavulin Distillery prize trip. The selection of the winners made and prizes awarded will be final and no correspondence or discussion will be entered into.
7. PRIZE PROVIDER: Each prize trip is provided by the owner and proprietor of the relevant distillery (as further detailed below). All travel and accommodation arrangements and excursions or other activities relating to the prize will be the sole responsibility of the relevant prize provider. MoM will not be responsible for any failure or delay in any travel or accommodation arrangements or for the failure or delay of any excursions or activities.
8. THE PRIZE: The prizes shall be as follows (as applicable):
Lagavulin Distillery prize trip: This prize trip is provided and organised by Diageo Great Britain Limited. The winner will win a 2-days 1-night trip for 2 people (i.e. the winner can bring a guest but the guest must also be 18 years or older) to the Lagavulin Distillery in Islay, Scotland consisting of the following itinerary:
standard or economy return flight or train travel for 2 people from the United Kingdom airport or train station local to the winner to the Isle of Islay, Scotland (to be selected and arranged by the prize provider);
standard accommodation for 2 people on the Isle of Islay at a bed and breakfast for 1 night, to be selected and arranged by prize provider, based on those people sharing a double or twin room (with room preferences subject to availability);
the following complimentary meals for 2 people: dinner on the 1st evening, and breakfast and lunch on the 2nd day; and
complimentary Tour of Lagavulin Distillery, together with a complimentary signed bottle of Lagavulin Distiller’s Edition.
Glenkinchie Distillery prize trip: This prize trip is provided and organised by The Glenkinchie Distillery Ltd. The winner will win a 2-days 1-night trip for 2 people (i.e. the winner can bring a guest but the guest must also be 18 years or older) to the Glenkinchie Distillery in East Lothian, Scotland consisting of the following itinerary:
standard or economy return flight or train travel for 2 people from the United Kingdom airport or train station local to the winner to Edinburgh, Scotland (to be selected and arranged by the prize provider);
standard accommodation for 2 people in Edinburgh for 1 night, to be selected and arranged by prize provider, based on those people sharing a double or twin room (with room preferences subject to availability);
the following complimentary meals for 2 people: dinner on the 1st evening and *breakfast and lunch on the 2nd day;
complimentary transfer to and from Glenkinchie Distillery; and
complimentary ‘Flavour Journey’ tour at Glenkinchie Distillery, together with a complimentary signed bottle of Glenkinchie Distiller’s Edition.
Dalmore Distillery prize trip: This prize trip is provided and organised by Whyte & Mackay Limited. The winner will win a 2-days 1-night trip for 2 people (i.e. the winner can bring a guest but the guest must also be 18 years or older) to the Dalmore Distillery Estate Experience in Alness, Scotland consisting of the following itinerary:
standard or economy return flight or train travel for 2 people from the United Kingdom airport or train station local to the winner to Alness, Scotland (to be selected and arranged by the prize provider);
standard return travel from Alness train station to the Dalmore Distillery Estate for 2 people;
standard accommodation for 2 people at Dalmore Distillery Estate in Alness for 1 night, to be selected and arranged by prize provider, based on those people sharing a double or twin room (with room preferences subject to availability); and
the following complimentary meals for 2 people: dinner on the 1st evening, and breakfast and lunch on the 2nd day, together with a complimentary unique signed bottle of Dalmore Distillery Exclusive whisky.
Tobermory & Ledaig Distillery prize trip: This prize trip is provided and organised by CVH Spirits Limited. The winner will win a 2-days 1-night trip for 2 people (i.e. the winner can bring a guest but the guest must also be 18 years or older) to the Tobermory Distillery and the Ledaig Distillery in the Isle of Mull, Scotland consisting of the following itinerary:
standard or economy return flight or train travel for 2 people from the United Kingdom airport or train station local to the winner to the Tobermory and Ledaig Distilleries on the Isle of Mull, Scotland (including transfers between the Distilleries and accommodation)(to be selected and arranged by the prize provider);
standard accommodation for 2 people on the Isle of Mull for 1 night, to be selected and arranged by prize provider, based on those people sharing a double or twin room (with room preferences subject to availability);
the following complimentary meals for 2 people: breakfast on the 2nd day and lunch on the day of distillery tour; and
complimentary private special hand-fill bottling experience (liquid used will be confirmed on the date of visit depending on availability).
Glen Scotia Distillery prize trip: This prize trip is provided and organised by Loch Lomond Distillers Ltd. The winner will win a 2-days 1-night trip for 2 people (i.e. the winner can bring a guest but the guest must also be 18 years or older) to the Glen Scotia Distillery in Campbeltown, Scotland consisting of the following itinerary:
standard or economy return flight or train travel for 2 people from the United Kingdom airport or train station local to the winner to the Glen Scotia Distillery in Campbeltown, Scotland (to be selected and arranged by the prize provider);
standard accommodation for 2 people in Campbeltown for 1 night, to be selected and arranged by prize provider, based on those people sharing a double or twin room (with room preferences subject to availability);
a complimentary breakfast for 2 people, and a dinner for 2 people to the value of up to £150; and
complimentary Glen Scotia Distillery tour, together with a complimentary bottle of Glen Scotia 18 Year Old signed by Ian McAlister.
Glenlivet Distillery prize trip: This prize trip is provided and organised by the Pernod Ricard Ltd. The winner will win a 2-days 1-night trip for 2 people (i.e. the winner can bring a guest but the guest must also be 18 years or older) to the Glenlivet Distillery in the Highlands, Scotland consisting of the following itinerary:
standard or economy return train travel for 2 people from the United Kingdom airport or train station local to the winner to the Glenlivet Distillery in Morvern, Scotland (to be selected by the prize provider);
accommodation for 2 people at Linn House, a luxurious Victorian whisky retreat nestled on the River Isla in Speyside for 1 night, based on those people sharing a double or twin room (with room preferences subject to availability);
access to the Exclusive Whisky Library at Linn House, where you can explore rare whiskies from The Glenlivet, Aberlour, Scapa, Strathisla, as well as Chivas, Royal Salute, Ballantine’s, and more;
the following complimentary meals for 2 people: Dinner and breakfast for two prepared by Linn House’s head chef, Eric, who brings Michelin-level expertise and a passion for locally sourced, seasonal ingredients; and
complimentary private tour of The Glenlivet Distillery, together with a complimentary bottle of Linn House reserve whisky, signed by Glenlivet’s Master Distiller.
All prizes are strictly non-negotiable and not transferable and cannot be exchanged for the equivalent cash value or other items. Your attention is also drawn to section 9 below regarding booking and trip restrictions below.
9. IMPORTANT BOOKING AND TRIP RESTRICTIONS:
All prizes will be subject to the following restrictions:
All travel dates and bookings are subject to the availability of the relevant distillery, other relevant service providers, and other relevant establishments.
Unless otherwise expressly stated or agreed, all elements of a prize trip must be booked at least 3 months prior to the agreed date of travel.
Prize trips cannot be taken during Easter, Christmas, and UK public bank holidays.
Unless otherwise expressly stated, the prize trip and all travel arrangements must be booked and taken within 12 months of the winner being notified of winning the prize.
Once travel dates and relevant reservations are notified to the winner, they cannot be changed, postponed, or cancelled.
For the Dalmore Distillery prize trip, the following additional restrictions apply:
The trip can only be taken during 2026 due to ongoing improvement works at the visitor centre.
10. OTHER COSTS OR EXPENSES AND TRAVEL INSURANCE: All costs or expenses not listed in paragraph 8 incurred by the winners and their guest (where applicable) in taking up the prizes shall be the sole responsibility of the winners and their guest. Winners and guests are encouraged to take out appropriate travel insurance.
11. AVAILABILITY TO TRAVEL: The winners and their guests will be solely responsible for ensuring that they will be available to travel, and that they will hold all necessary passports, visas and travel documents incidental to the fulfilment of the prize on the dates specified.
12. CLAIMING THE PRIZE: The name of the winners will be announced on MoM’s blog as soon as practicable following selection. MoM will make reasonable efforts to contact the winners via email or by telephone as soon as practicable. If any winner cannot be contacted and has not claimed the prize within 5 days of MoM making reasonable attempts to contact them, MoM reserves the right to select an alternative qualifying entry and to offer the relevant prize to another entrant. MoM cannot accept any responsibility if any winner is unable to claim the prize within the time limit set out above. MoM may contact the winners for feedback in respect of the competition and/or any prize and may use any feedback provided when announcing the results and promoting the competition or subsequent competitions.
13. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY: MoM shall not be responsible for any purchase which does not qualify you for entry for any reason (for example, due to technical error, payment error or connection failure). Insofar as is permitted by law, none of MoM, its agents, employees, and/or representatives shall be responsible or liable to compensate any competition entrant and/or the winner and/or their guest for any loss, damage, personal injury or death whatsoever and howsoever caused, whether in contract, tort (including negligence), breach of statutory duty, or otherwise, arising out of or in connection with their participation in this competition (including in taking up any prize), except where caused by the proven negligence of MoM, its agents, employees, and/or authorised representatives. Competition entrants’ statutory rights are not affected.
14. PRIZE PROVIDERS’ PRIVACY POLICY: Each winner will be required to get in touch with the relevant prize provider in order for them to make the necessary travel and other arrangements. Once the winners’ details are with the relevant prize provider, the relevant prize provider will act as data controller for such personal data and will process the personal data subject to their Privacy Policy. 15. GENERAL: These terms shall be governed by the law of England and Wales, and the parties submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
