Patron Tequila Introduces El Alto Mini

As smaller-size packaging emerges as a consumer trend, Patron has announced the launch of Patron El Alto Mini, in 50-ml. bottles.

Launched in 2022, Patron El Alto is made from 100% Weber Blue Agave grown in Jalisco, Mexico. It’s a blend of Reposado, Añejo and Extra Añejo tequilas, now available in a trial-size bottle.

“With the Patron El Alto Mini, we’re sharing our handcrafted prestige tequila in an exciting new way,” says D-J Hageman, VP of marketing at Patron. “It’s perfect for toasting to the unforgettable moments that define festival season, bringing the extraordinary quality of Patron El Alto to life as the ultimate mini accessory.”

Patron El Alto Mini rolls out nationwide this June.

Smaller-format packaging is an emerging trend as consumers look to sample premium products before committing to a larger purchase. Minis also fit into the budget of customers who shop while increasingly watching their wallets in an uncertain economy. Altogether the result has been a recent rise in sales for smaller-format bottles in some markets, especially the control states, which identified and tapped into this trend several years ago.

This follows the launch of Patron Cristalino Tequila.
