Harrison Ford unveils Glenmorangie as the official whisky of Formula 1

Glenmorangie has been named the Official Whisky of Formula 1.

The partnership was revealed in a short film starring none other than Harrison Ford, who delivers his verdict with dry precision from behind the wheel of a Jaguar E-Type: “Nice.”

From tall stills to top speeds

This isn’t Glenmorangie’s first creative partnership, but it’s got to be one of the most high-octane. The deal is part of a wider 10-year agreement between parent company LVMH and Formula 1. But for Glenmorangie, it’s a chance to plant the whisky flag squarely in the world of motorsport. The two do share a love of slick engineering, shiny things, and expensive liquids.

Kicking off at the British Grand Prix at Silverstone (the spiritual home of F1 and site of the first official championship race in 1950), Glenmorangie will be running “trackside experiences” throughout the 2025 season.

This includes cocktail serves, responsible drinking messaging, and photo ops with the exact Eagle Speedster Jaguar used in the film. Yes, the one Harrison Ford actually sat in.

Although, you can’t really spray whisky about like Champagne after a victory. The little “pop” when you uncork a whisky bottle is very satisfying, no doubt. Just quite twee by comparison.
