Serendipity Wines is partnering with Spain wine group Raventós Codorníu. Beginning July 1, Serendipity will take on partial distribution rights for a selection of Raventós Codorníu’s acclaimed producers in California, with full statewide distribution rolling out August 1.
The initial portfolio includes: Artesa, Codorníu, Raimat, Santini, Septima, Umberto and Viña Pomal—representing a dynamic range of premium wines from Spain, Argentina and California, according to the company.
“We’re thrilled to be working with Raventós Codorníu and honored to represent this lineup in California,” said Seth Fagelman, president and CEO of Serendipity Wines, in a news release. “From Artesa’s stunning Napa Valley estate to Codorníu’s pioneering work in organic cava, this is a portfolio rich in history and innovation. It’s a perfect fit for our team and our customers.”
Esteban Baigun, president Raventós Codorníu USA, added, “Partnering with Serendipity gives us the opportunity to expand thoughtfully in California with a distributor that values integrity, hospitality and long-term relationships. We’re confident they’ll help us bring the story of our wines to life across the state.”
