Drink Experiences: It’s Not A Bag, It’s A Cocktail at Papi Steak Las Vegas

If you’re looking to get your hands on a Birken bag, if only temporarily, head to Papi Steak Las Vegas. The restaurant in the Fontainebleau on the Strip in June launched the It’s Not A Bag, It’s A Cocktail, served inside a Birkin Bag — a coveted accessory worth $33,000.

Priced at $150, the cocktail combines Belvedere 10 vodka, grapefruit oil saccharum, Lillet blanc and a side of Papi’s own caviar. It’s Not A Bag, It’s A Cocktail first made its debut at Papi Steak Miami. Needles to say, guests don’t actually get to keep the Birken; it’s more of an inspirational — or aspirational — vessel for the drink.

Keeping in the theme of extravagant cocktails, Papi Steak has unveiled the Papirazzi ($100), made with Grey Goose Altius vodka, pomegranate, Cointreau, agave and lemon. It’s served alongside a bedazzled Polaroid camera for taking an Insta-worthy snap. The camera, like the Birken, goes back with the server.
