Produced at James B. Beam Distilling Co., Baker’s 13-Year-Old Single Barrel Bourbon is back for 2025.
This limited-edition bottling is meant to explore how time and location in the warehouse drives distinction from barrel to barrel. Baker’s base bourbon is distilled to a lower proof and barreled and aged for a minimum of seven years. This extra-aged expression allows the bourbon to pull more toasted nut, fruit and vanilla flavor from the barrel wood, according to the distillery.
On the nose is fruit, vanilla and caramel, the producer reports, before a palate that’s medium-bodied with flavors of oak, toasted nuts and vanilla and fruit notes.
Baker’s 13-Years-Old Single Barrel Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey is 107 proof with a suggested retail price of $149.99 for a 750-ml. bottle.
This follows the recent release of Jim Beam Sunshine Blend.
