LeafLink Partners with Confia for Cannabis Banking Services

Cannabis wholesale and banking platform LeafLink and Confia, a FinTech company, have formed a partnership where LeafLink can acquire customers from Confia’s cannabis banking platform.

According to the company, this partnership allows Confia customers to transition onto the Dama Financial by LeafLink platform and gain access to its financial services suite. Through its network of regulated bank partners and technology platform, Dama Financial addresses the persistent pain points of cannabis banking—such as poor user experience, limited and unreliable services and hidden fees—by providing businesses with access to banking services, a digital platform and transparent pricing.

“We are excited to partner with Confia to bring their cannabis customers a more robust and enriched banking experience,” said Ryan Himmel, chief strategy officer at LeafLink, in a news release. “This partnership marks an important step in LeafLink’s commitment to strengthening the financial health of cannabis businesses. By enhancing the banking journey for Confia customers, we will streamline back-end processes, reduce uncertainty, and allow them to focus on what matters most: building sustainable businesses.”

The partnership builds on LeafLink’s July 2024 acquisition of Dama Financial, the banking division of Dama Technology, Inc. This significantly expanded LeafLink’s product offerings to include cannabis banking capabilities, according to the company. Since the acquisition, LeafLink has been able to offer a full suite of banking, credit and payments tools.
