Southern Glazer’s Names Steve Bronson as CIO

Southern Glazer’s Wine & Spirits just appointed Steve Bronson as Chief Information Officer (CIO), reporting to David Chaplin, Chief Growth and Strategy Officer as part of the company’s OneTech function.

In this role, Bronson will oversee enterprise technology strategy and execution, according to the company, working closely with Southern Glazer’s Digital Acceleration team to ensure the company’s technology roadmap supports its long-term digital transformation and growth objectives.

Bronson brings more than 25 years of global leadership experience driving technology innovation, digital transformation and enterprise modernization across food and beverage, retail, consumer goods and high-tech industries. Most recently, he served as Senior Vice President of Global Technology Infrastructure and Operations at McDonald’s Corporation, according to the company, where he spearheaded the Southern Glazer’s global technology transformation, including a partnership with Google to deploy one of the world’s largest private cloud environments and enable AI-driven personalization at scale across 40,000 restaurants worldwide.

Steve Bronson Brings Years of Experience

Prior to McDonald’s, Bronson held senior technology leadership roles at CDK Global, Nike and Anheuser-Busch InBev, according to the company, where he successfully led enterprise-wide cloud migrations, ERP transformations, digital supply chain innovations and large-scale technology modernization initiatives. Throughout his career, he has been recognized as a transformative leader, keynote speaker, and proven innovator, with a track record of building high-performing, diverse technology teams and consistently delivering measurable business value.
