Tequila Rosaluz

Spirits producer Mack Brands just announced the U.S. debut of Tequila Rosaluz, a line of five premium tequilas.

“Tequila Rosaluz was created to capture not just a taste, but a feeling, a moment in time reflected through color, aroma and flavor,” said Nic Mack, founder of Mack Brands, in a news release. “We wanted to make an exceptional tequila that’s accessible to newcomers while offering depth and character for seasoned enthusiasts.”

As the latest U.S. launch from Mack Brands, Tequila Rosaluz was born in the small town of San Francisco de Asis, in the Jalisco highlands, according to the producer. At the heart of the new tequila is Maestra Tequilera, Mariana Muñoz Gutiérreza, celebrated female master distiller. Under her direction, Tequila Rosaluz uses 100% estate-grown blue agave and traditional brick oven cooking.

Tequila Rosaluz comes in five expressions:

Blanco ($29.99) Features aromas of cooked agave, fresh herbs and citrus.

Reposado ($34.99) Features aromas of cooked agave, cherry and subtle oak. The finish lingers with warm, fruity notes, enhanced by aging in American oak.

Añejo ($39.99) Features notes of caramel, toasted oak and dried fruit. The palate features hints of cocoa and spice.

Cristalino ($44.99) Features notes of vanilla, caramel and oak balanced by citrus and agave.

Rosado ($79.99) Features aromas of agave, citrus, jasmine and white stone fruit.

Tequila Rosaluz is available at select retailers across the Northeast and online at flaviar.com
