As the non-alc movement continues to gain steam, Freixenet has announced a brand-new look and format for its Alcohol-Removed range.
Debuting in market in the coming weeks, Freixenet Cordon Alcohol-Removed now comes packaged in the black-matte Cordon-Negro packaging that Freixenet has used for more than 50-years.
Since the inaugural launch of Alcohol-Removed in 2020, Freixenet continues to explore new formulations and packaging.
Freixenet Cordon Alcohol-Removed is made with Airen grapes. Using the same proprietary technology since 2020, Freixenet dealcoholizes the wine at low temperatures with vacuum evaporation to help retain the original grape characteristics, the company says. The result is a wine with white fruit flavors such as green apples and pears with tropical notes.
The new Cordon-Alcohol Removed is certified vegan, with 30g/l of sugar per bottle (750-ml.) and 15 calories per 100-ml.
The Freixenet Cordon Alcohol-Removed 200-ml 3-pack has a suggested retail price of $13.50 per pack, and rolls out through ShopFreixenet.com and retailers nationwide.
