Canned wine brand Archer Roose Wines is now available fleetwide on Princess Cruises as its first official canned wine partner. Shipboard guests can enjoy Archer Roose Wines’ Bubbly, Pinot Noir, Rosé and Sauvignon Blanc varietals on all voyages starting this September.
The partnership marks the first time Archer Roose Wines will be available at sea. The wine brand in July announced that its pinot noir would be poured at 1,225 Buffalo Wild Wings across all 50 states. Its other on-premise placements include Levy-operated concession stands at stadiums and venues nationwide, Old Chicago, Punch Bowl Social, Dave & Busters, OTG-operated restaurants at select airports and ARAMARK-serviced sports facilities, cultural attractions and more.
Actor Elizabeth Banks, Archer Roose Wines’ chief creative officer and co-owner, will be star in a new promotional video christening the partnership. The spot, dubbed “The Can for the Curious Cruiser,” shows how Archer Roose Wines complements the modern cruiser’s time onboard, in cheeky, signature Banks style. The spot will run on social media, Princess Cruises’ YouTube channel, and fleetwide in staterooms via video on demand.
Princess Cruises carries several other celebrity-backed brands. The cruise line this past May announced the addition of actor and entrepreneur Taraji P. Henson’s Moscato, Seven Daughters to its Love Lines Premium Liquors Collection. Other celebrities featured in the Love Lines Collection include Jason Momoa and Blaine Halvorson (Meili Vodka), Camila and Matthew McConaughey (Pantalones Organic Tequila), Blake Lively (Betty Booze and Betty Buzz), Liev Schreiber (Sláinte Irish Whiskey), Jason Aldean (Melarosa Sauvignon Blanc and Red Blend), Romero Britto (Love Prosecco), and Kylie Minogue (No Alcohol Sparkling Rosé).
