Ready-to-drink sparkling margarita brand SipMARGS announced its launch in California through a distribution partnership with Southern Glazer’s Wine & Spirits (SGWS).
“After an incredibly successful first summer, we are excited to launch SipMARGS in California,” said Justin Nabozna, CEO of SipMARGS, in a news release. “It has been one of our most requested markets from the start, and Southern Glazer’s is the perfect partner to help us reach more consumers who are looking for a high-quality, low ABV cocktail they can enjoy anywhere. We can’t wait to start hitting shelves and continue to expand our growing community from coast to coast.”
SipMARGS has begun rolling out in leading retailers across the state, according to the company, including BevMo, Bristol Farms, Lazy Acres and Total Wine & More and is available via GoPuff, with plans to continue adding major retailers and on-premise accounts.
Featuring five signature flavors – Classic, Mango, Coconut, Mezcal and Spicy – SipMARGS is crafted with tequila blanco from Jalisco, Mexico, real fruit juice, real cane sugar, natural flavors and sparkling water, according to the company. The RTD format comes in at 5% ABV, 130 calories and 6 grams of sugar. Available in 4-packs (all flavors) for $10.99 and variety 8-packs (Classic, Mango, Coconut and Spicy) for $18.99 across New Jersey, Florida, New York, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Virginia, Michigan and California.
