Michigan-based John P. O’Sullivan Distributing Inc. just launched Yuengling in mid-Michigan.
Consumers across mid-Michigan now have the opportunity to enjoy a selection of Yuengling’s celebrated draft beers. Yuengling is currently in its sixth generation of family ownership, according to the distributor, while John P. O’Sullivan Distributing Inc. operates as a second-generation family-owned and operated beer business.
“We are excited to partner with Yuengling and bring their authentic American beers to mid-Michigan,” said Joanie O’Sullivan-Butler, president and CEO of John P. O’Sullivan Distributing Inc., in a news release. “This launch is the most exciting beer launch in our company’s history! What a fantastic opportunity for us to expand our offerings and introduce our customers to a brewery with such a storied history, one that beer lovers have been waiting for.”
Yuengling’s lineup includes its flagship Yuengling Lager, Yuengling Black & Tan and Yuengling Flight, according to the distributor, clocking in at 4.2% ABV, 95 calories and 2.6 carbs. Initially, the launch was limited to Ann Arbor, East Lansing and Detroit markets. Now, based on the success of the beers in those markets, the brewery is expanding to the rest of the lower Peninsula.
