Provi and Vermont Department of Liquor and Lottery Partner to Launch 802Spirits Connect
The Vermont Department of Liquor and Lottery and Provi announced a partnership to launch 802Spirits Connect, Vermont’s first digital spirits ordering platform for on-premise licensees.
The initiative – developed through a competitive RFP process – represents the first direct partnership between Provi and a control state agency, according to the company.
Digitizing a Legacy System
Until now, Vermont’s on-premise licensees placed spirits orders by phone or in person. 802Spirits Connect digitizes the entire process – enabling operators to browse real-time inventory, build and save order lists and submit orders to 802Spirits agent stores online, according to the company. The platform streamlines communication, reduces administrative burden and improves accuracy in ordering and fulfillment.
“After a highly competitive process, we were impressed with Provi’s approach to technology, particularly within the complex framework of our system,” said Wendy Knight, commissioner of the Vermont Department of Liquor and Lottery, in a news release. “Their expertise throughout this process has not only advanced innovation for the state but also helped meet the changing needs of Vermont’s hospitality industry.”

By offering distilled spirits products alongside beer and wine portfolios already available on Provi, licensees gain a unified and consistent way to manage purchasing across all categories.
802Spirits Connect is now live and available to all on-premises licensees.
