Hoot + Howl Spirits just debuted its Amaro Cask Bourbon. Fresh off a silver medal win at the 2025 Heartland Whiskey Competition, the Amaro Cask Bourbon joins the distillery’s growing lineup of spirits.
A blend of seven-year-old bourbon finished for one year in a Sicilian amaro cask, Hoot + Howl’s Amaro Cask Bourbon features notes of vanilla, citrus peel, dried fruit, caramel and herbal spice, according to the distillery. The new release is available online with direct-to-consumer nationwide shipping and Colorado retail availability rolling out soon.
“We’ve been patiently refining this bourbon for years using historical techniques, and with the amaro cask bringing such unique notes, we believe this is a truly special release,” said Hoot + Howl founder Callan Deline in a news release. “We’re thrilled to finally share Amaro Cask Bourbon with whiskey lovers across the country.”
The Amaro Cask Bourbon earned its silver medal alongside Hoot + Howl’s Armagnac Cask Bourbon, according to the distillery, which also claimed Best of Colorado at the Heartland Whiskey Competition.
