OLCC Recalls Hemp Flower Pre-Rolls

The Oregon Liquor and Cannabis Commission (OLCC) is issuing a product recall for hemp flower pre-rolls that may have much higher levels of THC than listed on the label.

According to the organization, consumption of this product may cause unintended intoxication. The affected pre-rolls were distributed by Simply Sol to OLCC-licensed marijuana retailers, with Simply Sol having received one complaint regarding this product so far.

The OLCC is utilizing the state’s Cannabis Tracking System (CTS) to identify affected inventory and issue notices to retailers and other licensees to halt further distribution and sale, according to the organization. The product poses a risk to public health and safety and should not be sold or consumed.

Consumers with health-related concerns about a recalled product should contact the Oregon Poison Center at 800-222-1222, according to the organization, or their medical provider.
