The VinePair Podcast: What Happens When Restaurant Reservations Meet AI?

News broke late last year about OpenTable’s implementation of artificial intelligence in its back-end reservation system. After this came to light, a listener called in and asked us to discuss what this new information means.

Today on the “VinePair Podcast,” Adam, Joanna, and Zach ponder how the updated system could affect the dining experience. Does this make anything better for anyone? Does it unfairly categorize a diner before arrival?
