Bruichladdich Announces Port Charlotte 18YO 2026 Edition

Bruichladdich has introduced the 2026 edition of Port Charlotte 18 Year Old.

This release uses 100% Scottish barley and has matured exclusively on Islay. It has tasting notes of cinder toffee sweetness, warm spice and a medley of tropical fruits, according to its producer.

Port Charlotte 18 Year Old 2026 edition is a limited release of only 8,000 bottles, malted to 40 PPM with a cask strength 104.6 proof.

The suggested retail price is $199 per 700-ml. bottle.

This 2026 Edition release follows Port Charlotte 18’s inaugural release in February 2024 and the succeeding 2025 release. Each edition so far has varied slightly in terms of cask maturation and, therefore, flavor. However, all three stay true to Port Charlotte’s classic profile with its signature barbecue peat smoke at the core, according to the distillery.

This follows the recent release of Bruichladdich The Laddie Rye.
