Four Roses Distillery has announced the 2026 release of its Single Barrel Collection, the second installment in an annual series that rotates among its ten recipes.
The 2026 collection includes recipes OESQ, OESF and OBSK. Each recipe combines a mash bill and a yeast strain. The release aims to present differences among those combinations.
The OBSK expression uses a mash bill with 35% rye and the K yeast strain. The company lists tasting notes for this expression as allspice, cocoa, vanilla and cinnamon on the nose, rye spice and caramel on the palate and a finish described as bright and rich.
The OESQ expression uses a mash bill with 20% rye and the Q yeast strain. The company lists tasting notes as red berries, honey, caramel and light oak on the nose, floral aromas and vanilla on the palate and a finish described as soft and lasting.
The OESF expression uses a mash bill with 20% rye and the F yeast strain. The company lists tasting notes as candied fruit, clove, oak and creamy vanilla on the nose, light mint and soft grains on the palate and a finish described as rich and mellow.
The products have a suggested retail price of $49.99 per 750-ml. body. Each expression is bottled at 100 proof and aged between seven and nine years.
Four Roses Distillery was recently purchased by Gallo.
