Chicken Cock Rolls Our Refreshed Label

Chicken Cock Whiskey has introduced new packaging across its core whiskey portfolio as part of the brand’s 170th anniversary.

The updated labels feature five rooster characters that correspond to individual expressions in the lineup. According to the company, the redesign aims to highlight the heritage and identity of each whiskey.

The refreshed labels now appear on the following products:

Remy: Wheated Kentucky Straight Bourbon (SRP $57.99)

Ricky: Kentucky Straight Bourbon (SRP $59.99)

Riley: Kentucky Straight Rye Whiskey (SRP $59.99)

Russell: Kentucky Straight Small Batch Bourbon (SRP $69.99)

Rocco: Double Oak 10-Year Kentucky Whiskey (SRP $95.99)

Chicken Cock traces its history to 1856. The company notes that the brand sold whiskey by the barrel during the 19th century and continued operations through the Whiskey Trust era.

During Prohibition, Chicken Cock moved operations to Canada. The company says Chicken Cock Rye entered the U.S. through illegal channels and appeared in venues including Harlem’s Cotton Club. At the same time, the brand remained available domestically as a prescribed medicinal spirit, with whiskey often aged between 10 and 16 years.

The newly labeled core range is now available through retailers nationwide and through the Chicken Cock Whiskey online store.
