Cann Expands Lineup with THC-free Products, Dwyane Wade Collaboration

Cann expanded its beverage portfolio on June 30 with the launch of four new products, including its first line of THC-free beverages and a new flavor developed in collaboration with former NBA player Dwyane Wade.

The company’s new “0mg” collection includes three THC-free flavors formulated with magnesium, electrolytes and L-theanine. Cann said the beverages target social occasions and contain no THC.

The company said the launch will allow the products to be sold in all 50 states. Cann plans to begin direct-to-consumer sales on June 30, with a retail rollout scheduled for August.

Cann also will introduce Half & Half, a bergamot lemonade and yerba mate iced tea beverage inspired by Wade’s preferred golf course drink. The product will be available in two versions: one containing 3 milligrams of THC per can and one with no THC.

According to the company, the Half & Half launch marks its collaboration with Wade and coincides with the introduction of its THC-free product line.

The company said the THC-free expansion is intended to broaden distribution opportunities and increase retail availability nationwide.
