Middle West Spirits Launches Old Elk 10-Year Whiskey Collection

Middle West Spirits has launched the Old Elk Distillery 10-Year-Old Collection, which includes Straight Bourbon, Straight Wheat Whiskey and Wheated Bourbon.

The collection represents the first major product releases from Old Elk since Middle West Spirits acquired Old Elk Distillery in May 2025.

The three whiskeys carry 10-year age statements and suggested retail prices of $69.99 per bottle.

The Old Elk 10-Year-Old Straight Bourbon uses a mash bill of 51% corn, 34% malted barley and 15% rye. The whiskey has an ABV of 52.5%.

Old Elk uses a higher proportion of malted barley than many bourbon mash bills, alongside rye and corn. The whiskey ages for 10 years before bottling.

The Old Elk 10-Year-Old Straight Wheat Whiskey uses a mash bill of 96% wheat and 4% malted barley, with an ABV of 51.5%. Old Elk ages the whiskey for 10 years in barrels.

The Old Elk 10-Year-Old Wheated Bourbon uses a mash bill of 51% corn, 46% wheat and 3% malted barley. It carries an ABV of 52.5%. The 46% wheat content makes wheat nearly half of the mash bill, while corn accounts for 51%. Old Elk ages the bourbon for 10 years before bottling.

All three are available nationwide. Consumers can also purchase the whiskeys through the Middle West Spirits Distillery bottle store and Old Elk bottle shop.
